Them meddling kids keep getting away with it, with their noisemakers, street pranks, and lack of a pet dog to serve as a moral compass. Their violence is minimal, gore unnecessary, just tension and panic before yet another day of classes. Psychological prep for the horrors of the education system.

Shivers are the least of the symptoms of the designer STD spreading from a room on the top floor of the building to anyone thirsty enough to ignore all the lumps. The gravedancers are mourning their friend in the cemetery during a full moon, drinking cheap booze, reading aloud whatever random curse they may find. Their hangover is being haunted to death. I assume the ghost designs are anime knockoffs, but look amazing. Less so is the narrative reliance on SA.

Mark of the devil keeps finding its way onto those who resist the toxic masculinity of the church. Many people, but also entire villages burn. Promises realistic torture based on historical documentation throughout the runtime but uses those scenes mostly as transition scenes. That eye stab is art.
