We can now say, without risk of challenge, that never in the history of civilisation has a more tragic human being walked the earth.

In terms of grace and leadership, he is our black hole.

Before Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, we need to make it very clear this -- as well as shooting protestors -- was all premeditated.
This sounds insane, but given who we’re talking about, it tracks.

@milestaylor.bsky.social says Stephen Miller told him that “if Trump won reelection, it would be a shock and awe blitz…and one of those things he would look to do is invoke the insurrection act.”

Watch all of this!

Trump's White Nationalist Cosplay Crusaders Are Playing for ALL the Marbles

America’s refusal to face its past is forging a new authoritarianism. From the unpunished sins of the Civil War to the war on the Fed, the cost of “moving on” has never been higher.

We have to be clear about what the Trump Administration is doing: They are taking basic American virtues and freedoms — the ability to speak truth to power and freely — and turning them into crimes. We must see through this.

We can now visualize pathogens down to atoms; design vaccines in weeks; manufacture them in microbial factories; engineer them more precise than ever before.

We're living through a golden age of vaccine development, but only if we continue to invest in them.

Referring to DHS/ICE agents as "police" is like calling Fox News a news organization. It's an illiberal conceit, something appropriate for a regime that has in recent days made it clear they no longer believe domestic or international law apply to them. 3/

The man who shot and killed that woman in Minneapolis today had the word "police" on his chest.

But these ICE agents are not police. We don't have a national police force. Policing is state and local in the US. "Police" implies local origins, understandings, connection, and accountability. 1/
This angle shows Trump’s ICE agent standing on the side of the vehicle and firing into the open window at the driver. This was murder.
