A bizarrely weak post from skeleton-themed shitposting account da share zone, comprised of what appears to be a CG render of a server room in an office building, heavily contrasted to make the skull-themed toilet and metal-sculpture skeleton toilet-roll holder more visible against the otherwise stark background. the caption reads I have no ass and I must crap. The account was effectively stolen from its transgender creator Jane Moon by Drew Fairweather, otherwise known as Drew Toothpaste, via false accusation of conducting an affair with Drew's wife.

Based on what I could find, most companies (that aren't AGI) generally presume GPUs retain value for between three and six years.

GPUs, the chips used to train and run the most advanced large language models, are one of the biggest costs for AI companies. Most of them are borrowing money to buy as many GPUs as possible, as fast as possible. As they do, accounting rules require them to produce estimates of how long these chips will retain value. Choosing a longer period spreads out the cost over more time, allowing companies to report higher profits now. But there’s a risk in claiming that equipment will be good for six years if, in reality, it will have lost almost all of its value in four. A company might have to buy new, even more expensive chips sooner than expected. Any loans it took out using the now-useless chips as collateral, meanwhile, could get complicated. At the very least, a company might have to write down the value of obsolete equipment, creating a one-time hit to profits.

A montante, or Spanish greatsword, also produced by Kingston Arms. The parrying spurs of the montante are slightly forward-curved, the fuller is in two parts. The ricasso is double-fullered, and then a single wide fuller extends from the parrying spurs to about halfway along the usable blade. The hilt of the sword has both ring-guards on both sides, as well as a wide cruciform guard.

An Italian-style spada da lato, produced by Kingston Arms. A type of lightweight arming sword, the spada da lato comes from the early Renaissance, and would become the precursor to what we now know as the rapier, the foil, and the epee. A Scottish dirk, a unique type of long, guardless dagger, common in the 18th century highlands. Unless the Scotsman in question was an officer in the military or came from money (which, in those days, were one and the same thing) they would not have been issued a sword, and instead would have had one of these long knives forged out of recycled tool-steel and suchlike. A walking stick made of dark polished wood with gold filagree touches at just below the head of the cane, and at its opposite end. The cane is split into two sections, one four-fifths of its length, and the other one-fifth, with a concealed Chinese Jian-style sword-blade attached thereto. While cane-swords are largely the work of fiction, particularly of the Edwardian and Victorian era, the Jian Straight Sword has been used in China for centuries, both as a practical tool of war, and also for meditation through martial arts such as Tai Chi. The Jian is, perhaps coincidentally, regarded in China as "The Gentleman" of the Four Major Weapons, the others being the Grandfather (staff), the King (spear) and the General (dao sabre)

Had my misgivings about this feature, but honestly its more useful here than in the game that inspired it.

Comprehensive Coverage offers Mysterious Disappearance protection on these categories in addition to Basic Theft protection. Theft protection under Basic Coverage requires a police report and evidence of forced entry.
