It's easy to forget the varieties of Club bars that used to be available, now we seem to have only Mint and Orange, (is the Fruit one still a thing?) This is a still from a 1980s TV ad, displaying Fruit, Orange, Milk, Plain, and Mint. Note also the golf ball on the Plain one - bit of a wild card.

I never used microdrives with my Spectrum back in the day (just cassettes for me) but if I had, one of these would have taken pride of place on the desk. Reminds me of the lockable 3.5" floppy storage trays I used to have for my Commodore Amiga disks.

Anyone remember "Action Canyon" from 1978? I got one for Christmas that year, and I vividly remember really loving it. It's also the subject of next fortnight's RetroSpectives video, so if you'd like a comment featured in the vid, I'd appreciate hearing about any memories you might have. 🪨🚗

Phone friendly is definitely the way to go. I read a lot of mags on my tablet, with the option of viewing PDFs on a few different apps, and that version works a treat. Had a quick flick, but I'll 'digest' the mag later. Cheers for that.
