Congressman Eugene Vindman
@repvindman.bsky.social
Father, Husband, Veteran | Congressman proudly representing Virginia’s Seventh District
It was an incredible honor to spend an evening with President Barack Obama.

During our time, President Obama underscored the significance of service and urged us to continue defending our shared values.

Thank you, Mr. President, for your steadfast leadership.

Trump pardoned the ex-president of Honduras who trafficked 400 pounds of cocaine into the United States.

You can’t claim to be tough on drug trafficking while freeing one of the world’s most notorious traffickers.

Make it make sense, POTUS.

Congratulations to Virginia’s next Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry, Katie Frazier!

Katie has been a steadfast advocate for Virginia’s farmers and producers. Her leadership and dedication will be a strong asset for agriculture and forestry across the Commonwealth.

I’m proud to introduce a bipartisan, bicameral bill with Senator Kaine and Rep. Valadeo that helps Virginians build the digital skills that are essential in today’s economy.

Virginia is a place where anyone willing to work hard should be able to land their first job or keep the job they love.

Take it from Secretary Hegseth, following "ruthless" and "unlawful" orders has consequences.

Ironic, right?
December 3, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Let’s be clear: Pete Hegseth should be under criminal investigation for his unauthorized — and likely illegal — military operations in Venezuela.

As I told Jim Sciutto, Pete Hegseth must release the unredacted video of the strike and radio recordings of the orders given.

Although Team Vindman was hard at work during the government shutdown, our Vinterns sadly couldn’t be with us. But now they’re back — and it’s time to catch up on everything you’ve missed!
December 2, 2025 at 6:31 PM
When I last spoke with Secretary Pete Hegseth, he couldn’t answer basic questions about our military.

Now, he is directing unauthorized and likely illegal military operations against Venezuela without the consent of Congress. (1/3)

I reviewed a call between President Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

I feel strongly that the public deserves to know what was said on this call.

If Trump had nothing to hide, he’d release the transcript.

70 years ago today, Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama bus, bravely challenging racist segregation laws.

Her life of activism and service continues to inspire us to stand firm in our pursuit of justice and equality for all.

I've heard firsthand from rural manufacturers across Virginia that Trump's tariffs are keeping them from producing the products their customers depend on.

I sent a letter to Secretary Bessent urging him to reconsider the current tariffs that are hurting so many American producers and consumers.

Thanksgiving is this week — and prices are skyrocketing.

🦃 Turkeys are up 40%

🍠 Yams are up nearly 200%

🌽 Canned veggies are up 5%

Trump is focused on cutting taxes for his billionaire friends instead of helping hardworking families afford a holiday meal.

I reviewed a call between President Trump and the Saudi Crown Prince after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Today, his widow joined me at the U.S. Capitol to call on President Trump to release the transcript of that call.

🎧 Hear from Hanan Elatr Khashoggi yourself:

I'm pressuring Trump to release the transcript of his call with MBS.

As I said on Meet the Press, the American people deserve to know what was said on that call. Checkmate, Mr. President.
November 21, 2025 at 8:48 PM
I was honored to stand with Hanan Elatr Khashoggi to call on Trump to release the transcript of his call with MBS following the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

I reviewed this call while serving as a lawyer on Trump’s National Security Council — and the public deserves to see what was said.

Watch my press conference with Hanan Elatr Khashoggi — the wife of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi — on c-span.org.

We demand full public disclosure of Trump's call with MBS following the murder of her husband.

President Trump must release the transcript of his 2019 call with Mohammed bin Salman.

The world is watching — and the American people deserve to know what was said on that call.

In 2019, I reviewed President Trump’s call with the Saudi Crown Prince following the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

Today, I led 37 of my colleagues in sending a letter to @POTUS demanding he release a transcript of that call.

NOW: I’m on with Kristen Welker calling on Trump to release the transcript of his 2019 call with MSB following the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

The public deserves the truth.

NEW from TIME Magazine ‼️

Trump says the Saudi Crown Prince “knew nothing” about the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

I reviewed Trump’s call with MBS after the killing. The President should release the transcript.

We cannot let him rewrite the record or whitewash these atrocities.
November 20, 2025 at 8:38 PM
You read that right. The President of the United States just called for six Democratic Members of Congress — all who served our country — to be hanged.

These calls for political violence are absolutely unacceptable, yet "President Bone Spurs" continues to stoop to unimaginable lows.
November 20, 2025 at 6:55 PM
You’ve got that right — there is a lot more to investigate regarding Donald Trump’s calls.

That’s why Trump must release the transcript of his 2019 call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ASAP.
November 20, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Yesterday, Trump defended the Saudi Crown Prince in the Oval Office.

He said he had “nothing” to do with the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

But I reviewed a call while serving on Trump’s NSC that I believe would be of interest to the Khashoggi family and the American people.

Release the transcript.
