This is not the first time the president has come after me. His intimidation campaign didn’t stop me then, and it certainly won’t stop me now.

So, Mr. President, my response to you is this: release the transcript.

Unsurprisingly, the president is refusing to release the transcript. Instead, he is weaponizing his government against me in an attempt to silence me and distract from his corruption.

I feel strongly that the American people and the Khashoggi family deserve to hear the content of that call.

And if history is any indication, I don’t cry wolf.

After Trump’s disturbing defense of MBS in the Oval Office this week, I demanded the transcript of that call be released alongside the widow of Jamal Khashoggi.

While serving on Trump’s White House NSC, I reviewed a problematic call between the president and the Saudi Crown Prince following the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

I have one message to Virginians and Americans: I never back down from a fight. Not now, not ever.

This is not the first time the president has attacked me, and it won’t be the last. 
  
But let’s be clear about what he’s trying so hard to distract from: his disturbing phone call with the Saudi Crown Prince after the murder of journalist and Virginia resident Jamal Khashoggi.

I’ll save President Trump and Secretary Hegseth some time: I never took a dime from a Ukrainian citizen or government entity, directly or indirectly.

I followed the law and properly complied with all relevant regulations.
