Two cool papers showing that proximity to migrants and exposure to mass migration *do not* lead to overall increases in anti-immigrant sentiment.

A common narrative on the center and right is that immigration reduces social cohesion. This and other research (e.g., Hopkins’) suggests otherwise.
Interesting! One more paper showing that inflow of immigrants does not changes peoples attitudes. I am more and more convinced that inflow is just an opportunity to act out such prejudice, but it exists all along. We discuss this here
