So tomorrow’s task is an attempt to prevent the snails from eating our mail…despite most bills arriving by email.., somehow occasionally important stuff comes by snail mail (literally). After some research I hope this works 😬🤞
Package of Copper Snail tape. Which claims to stop snails and slugs in their tracks. Simply wrap around pots, garden beds or even table legs. Hopefully it works for mailboxes too.

Tonight’s dinner RTE Crispy Oven Baked Quesadillas with sour cream & Pico de gallo. No guac because the avo’s were shit, I hate Shepard season, but we had some left over spicy sauce from the other nights koftas so waste not want not 🤷‍♀️ #WhatsCooking

While everyone is on the subject of cook books and recipes… I’m going to shout out this wonderful little book I found the other week. Simple recipes that use what’s in season and help to avoid food waste.

Ok well I’ve read the response and a particular paragraph stands out for me. And makes me wonder why it is so hard to not just give credit or acknowledge that inspiration. See attached quote ⬇️
Recipe development in today’s world is enveloped in inspiration from other cooks, cookbook authors, food bloggers and content creators. This willingness to share recipes and build on what has come before is what I love so much about baking and sharing recipes - the community that surrounds it.

Dinner for two tonight, eldest out and we made a sample plate for the youngest before his shift tonight. For an agnostic I do love the idea of seafood on Good Friday. Tonight’s dinner by Mr G, 1st since his operation.
