It's a great deal of fun. I do that for my art sometimes cause I like telling stories. Having both writing and a visual representation really works wonders.

This is why artists and writers need to team up more. A nice story occasionally interspersed with art pieces to depict a scene when it fits is always nice. Or just go full on picture book and have one for each page idk.

A fantastic idea

I'd say solution is to use linux, but huion tablets have even more issues on linux. Idek how much of the proprietary software loaded onto a modern thinkpad is necessary for basic function, so unfortunately I can't be much help.

Thinkpads used to be good, but they got enshitified like everything else unfortunately. In my experience (almost 10 years using huion tablets) the tablet drivers have some issues, but I've never seen that error. Could be some conflict with how the manuf drivers are interacting with the tablet.
