It's almost like an inverse of Schrodinger's Cat - you can prove the item exists, right up until the point where you wish to perceive it or have a chance to, at which point it warps dimensions and vanishes entirely.

Thankfully I have not lost anything super hard to reacquire as far as I know - HeartGold remains in my 3DS and I have my copies of Platinum and White 2. I thought I had Black version as well, but I must have been mistaken (though I may have had a copy). It's still a complete nuisance, though.

I have checked every place I know it is. I have checked every place I would logically move it to. I have checked every place I could have accidentally left it. I have also checked a few places I would illogically move it to.
Completely and utterly vanished from this plane of existence.

Case in point, my DS Lite. I left it in the bag of things I take with me to work. It has sat there, along with my 3DS, for ages. I have not moved it, I have just known it's there. I went to get something out of my bag a couple of days ago.
My DS Lite is not there and I never moved it.

I see you have considerable culture. And you're not wrong, Raikou is kind of a physically bulkier Jolteon now that I think about it.

I was considering an Eevee evolution for my 6th Pokémon. I decided not to go with that, because I really wanted an electric type and getting evolution stones in Johto is basically impossible until postgame.

So, instead… I spent a couple days chasing down Raikou! The team is complete!!

Please do, I adore Link's Remakening so much! I'll trade and play something you like, where possible - I'm always up to try new things.
