Watched Life of Chuck tonight and loved it a lot. I know there are no direct connections to The Dark Tower mentioned in the movie but it certainly felt like it was ripped right out of the story. Then again, you could say everything King has ever written is just another level of the Tower.

Baked a batch of sugar cookies last night because I wanted to make some really nice ice cream sandwiches, but decided for no good reason to brown the butter first. Let me tell you, thats fucking cheating because the cookies are so good I dont even want to "ruin" them with ice cream now. (maybe)

Happy whatever you celebrate around this time of year. As for me, it’s a full strength edible first thing after my coffee and then I’m gonna sit and stare at the Christmas tree lights for several hours.

I just wanted everyone to know that while I have been diagnosed with Trump Derangement Syndrome, I have found ways to live a completely normal life while dealing with it. In fact I’m not the biggest fan of classifying it as a syndrome. My brain is just wired differently then idiots who buy his shit.

Three weeks off begins today. This break, aside from a mountain of chores that always seem to wait in the wings for such block of time off, its going to be late game Satisfactory and a The Dark Tower relisten on Audible, if it pleases ya. Does anyone else worry having outside cameras on your home just means that one day you will click on the app to see what it just recorded, only to witness someone breaking into your home to harm your loved ones who are there? Like just by looking you will cause it to happen? Just me?

And now to go in the other direction from my previous post....I am always somewhat depressed when I finish a game, especially one I have loved and immersed myself into for weeks or more at a time. Both a sense of loss and feeling lost at the same time. What now?

Have just completed Abiotic Factor and what a wild couple of weeks it’s been. Deep Field Games really knocked it put of the park with this gem. If you like survival horror, Half-life vibes or pets then I recommend you check this one out. Also bravo to any team that put pet pictures in the credits!

My partner and I both are on GLP1’s so food, being able to eat and enjoy it, can be hit or miss on any given day. Cooking a big Thanksgiving meal could be a total waste of time for the day. So instead we have decided to cook and eat one dish a day, starting with our turkey dressing.
