“He’s only just now getting interesting” gee almost like we are watching his tragic DND backstory every character has, and we’re getting him to where he was at the point he actually shows up in the campaign

In a DND Campaign you can have a 6 hour long conversation with a character about morality and the nature of it all and redeem them no matter their actions through persistence and dice rolls

TV show you got like 40 minutes an episode, maybe 2-3 seasons if you’re lucky

“I… I don’t… fuck it, yeah why not”

I remember doing one of the science minigames in Spider-Man 2 and going “The logic on this experiment seems kinda suspect,” and then I went “Wait I just fought a guy who injected lizard dna into his blood and became a big lizard guy, what am I doing”

I love it when series like these just take science and spit in its fuckin face after beating it with an aluminum bat
