Is talking action man conscious? Many users feel they’re talking to a real person. Arseholes, bastards, fucking cunts and pricks say it’s time to consider whether they’re onto something.

Great late night walk at High Force waterfall last night, including an astronomy talk at one of the darkest sky locations in England. Pleasingly the clouds cleared just in time!

Burning CD’s still feels like modern witchcraft when you’re old enough to have used one of these as a kid!

Starling murmuration at Netherfield Lagoons, Nottingham. 16th Nov. Small amount by some standards but still impressive. Thousands more latecomers arrived after this bunch had already gone down.

Storm Claudia made me think in future all storms could be named after tracks from the Cocteau Twins “Treasure” album.

Preston’s bit too far for me, but the word always makes me think of the Alan Bennett film “A Private Function” with Michael Palin as there is a scene where the farmer, referencing the pigs, says to his son: “Preston, fetch that lame bugger”. Clearly Alan Bennett works are not known to Google AI.

Amid all the stories around the proposals for new MUFC stadium and the Trafford Wharf redevelopment, I can't wait to get stuck into this from Tony Smith.

They even invented “reality TV”.

“What have the BBC ever done for us?”

Corrected version: Table showing MUFC results in between international breaks since 2013. This most recent one the first time since 2017 where a defeat has been avoided.

Terrific gig tonight with @jamesadrianbrown.bsky.social and @sulkrooms.bsky.social (aka Thomas Ragsdale) at the truly unique venue at Bishops House, Sheffield. Fabulous sounds, inspirational and moving. Hats off to all involved. Buy their stuff!

Three points better off now. This could be wiped off if Everton win at Old Trafford two weeks on Monday.

Don’t know where that image is from, this is the official Saudi World Cup bid page. It’s apparently accessed from “The Line”. 🤷‍♂️
