I liked the first one, enjoyed it, but I did not love it. I liked this one, enjoyed it, but did not love it. I cannot explain it. I am not done with it just yet, as the completionist in me needs to do more, but I am in no rush.

It was ported to Atari, Commodore, ZX Spectrum, and NES, but nothing captured having a wheel that turned endlessly and a gas pedal (no brake). I still remember spinning that wheel as hard as possible for a right turn and just going the opposite way to make an immediate left.

Another PAX East favorite that exceeded expectations. I do occasionally play non-roguelites. I like puzzles. I like puzzles with unique mechanics even more and this game has a really cool mechanics. If you enjoyed Bzzzt! or Ooo, check this out.

I actually enjoy the campaigns and blasting zombies away by the hundreds never gets old. I had a few campaign trophies remaining and the zombie trophies so figured I would go for the Platinum. Was well worth the time.

The Raiden Project was the first game I ever saw on a PlayStation. I still had my N64 but was sold. I've since played all the games in the series and I can never say no to a SHMUP.

Just like 1 & 2, I still listen to the music almost daily. Plus, they are just enjoyable games. Bonus: my 6 year old loves to play and it's really cool watching her get slightly better each time she plays.

If Zelda was a twin-stick shooter was what I was told and that is exactly what I got/wanted. It also has a bit of Metroidvania lurking about which made this "mini" (not sorry) game so much fun. I finished it up in just under 10 hours and that was the perfect length.

I actually beat this early last year but through Game Pass. When the DLC was announced, and because I was not renewing Game Pass, I grabbed the game for cheap and beat it again. If I had to rank non-FromSoft souls games, this is far and away #1.

As a huge fan of Ender Lilies, I could not get my hands on the sequel. It is an improvement in every way possible. A birthday gift of Atomfall did distract me followed by countless reviews but once I got back to it, I did not stop until I had that Platinum

I beat the original Borderlands back in May of 2014 and finished the Platinum for this in April of 2019. I could not finish Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot until now. Arguably the worst DLC in all the games. How I did this back on PS3 without rest mode is still a mystery.

Technically, it's never over, but I let my subscription end. WoW is the perfect game for me as someone who needs to hunt everything down and collect everything and and and and...
It is also steals literal hours from my life. Other games need to be played. Farewell for now

The name is Genesis Survivors on Steam. Don't search for Eden Survivors. Trust me. This is an entertaining twin-stick, survivor-like shooter. Nothing more, nothing less, but also not finished which is surprising based on the dev's other games.

Think the combat from the Arkham series (the combos mainly) with the violence from Manhunt. It is like playing in a constant of "FINISH HIM" aka completely over the top violence. The whole thing is set against an insane game show.

This one was a birthday gift and a fantastic one at that. I've loved all of the Sniper Elite games so it was exciting to see them branch out. It is on my list to return to for the DLC but I could not stop playing once I started. Highly recommend.
