That action is sick, but my favorite part is how often the characters become chibi SD! It gives off this fun chaotic energy when it's mixed in with the sick action and character drama.

Besides the toku show I'm watching, I'm also sprinkling in some anime. This time I'm watching Magic Knight Rayearth for the first time. I've known of it forever, but never jumped in.
I have to say, this anime so far has been incredibly fun! Epitome of 90s anime, which is very cozy.

Booted up the first two episode of Space Sheriff Gavan! I've yet to really delve into the Metal Heroes subgenre/brand of tokusatsu, but I know how important this specific series is to the larger fandom.

I'm glad we have some art from this remake that's in the traditional Toriyama style. It's like a warm blanket for me. Very cozy. I wonder if this is by him or just from Bird Studio?

I've been on a sort of media lull lately. From shows, books, and videogames. But I started an anime from '03 that I never got to see called Gad Guard. So far it feels like Medabots, but set in a more urban setting with the bots being much bigger.
