It could be installed on the PCB and works using two parallel line buffers implemented in Cyclone FPGA.

It’s Taito Dual Screen Composer (prototype), a zero-lag device that takes video data from the 2 screens of Taito dual-screen games and combine them into a single analog signal using the same fancy RGB DAC as the original board.
