Labour is saying not just that they don't want refugees, but that they don't want them to settle, they don't want them to have hope, they don't want their children, they don't want our ideas, our energy, what we have to offer. A disgrace for any party, particularly one (allegedly) on the left.

Thinking about my own father, who arrived in 1946 with the Free Polish Army - when would Labour have sent him back to communist Poland? How could he have done anything to build a life and have children in the UK if he had had to beg to stay every two years? Disgusting. www.bbc.com/news/article...

About 5 years #carfree for us. Well north of £10k saved. I’m used to it now but ‘free’ is the right term. It honestly felt like having a weight lifted. No stressing about insurance, huge unexpected bills & money wasted at petrol pumps. Journeys are now fun. 🚆 🚊 🚃 🚌 🚲 🚶♀️
