Well, this gave me nightmares last night.

This is happening across the whole government. People with vital experience are being removed and agencies are being redirected from their core missions to work on politically motivated missions.
As these political and personal purges continue, important agencies will become unable to perform their basic functions, and at some point will only be able to spread the purges into the larger society.

Trump and his people probably failed history AND math.
Trump promised DOGE would lower costs for Americans.

Instead, it’s made life more expensive for families.

I did a Google search to see if any Republicans denounced Joni Ernst's statement that "...we are all going to die." Guess what? No comment from her fellow Republicans. This is the party promoting death, disease, poverty, pollution, and war.

Hey guys. I haven't posted in 24 days. It's okay. I'm back. We can cancel the "bluesky is dying" rumors. Actually, does anyone think it was started intentionally? 🤔

I have a radical idea. Since billionaires don't pay taxes, let's pay the lower 90% more money so they can buy more things and pay more taxes to be invested in services for people. That way, the government AND economy will see money be circulated instead of all of it being funneled in one direction.

If nothing else, at the the United States will be an example to other countries if what happens when you elect someone like Trump and let him run rampant. At least in his first term there were adults who slow-rolled him.

100 days of DOGE: lots of chaos, not so much efficiency
At the Social Security Administration, lawyers, statisticians and other high-ranking agency officials are being sent from the Baltimore headquarters to regional offices to replace veteran claims processors who have been fired or taken buyouts from the Trump administration.
