Do you think he has some kind of cavernous sponge mask where he just smushes his face in for a single-move application? Or maybe those blorbs like on How It's Made when they show how bowls are decorated?

Every time I rub my glasses on my shirt, thinking "surely this time will be the time this works and doesn't just spread everything around"

Plus just absolutely blissed out on walking everywhere today. I did a banh mi walk (a walk where you start by getting a banh mi and eat it en route). Just walking everywhere, I'm in love.

How have they not figured out a "don't encourage suicide" system????

Also, why would personality even be a good indicator for an employer? Outside of "gets along well enough with others", who cares? Plenty of people are good at jobs that don't "match" their personalities

Oh but what if they offer me a bunch of money for my seat? That could be excellent. I will take a long bus ride for $5k, American Airlines. If that's something you are interested in.

I used to be a much more "vehicular" cyclist. I would ride on any road because I fucking have the right and it's the law. But then my sister got run over and almost died (emergency craniectomy can I get a hell yeah) and it honestly took the wind out of my sails a bit. I try my (imperfect) best.

I absolutely bomb the hill in the street on the way back in the evenings, it's excellent in that direction. Sometimes assholes still pass me, but hasn't been as threatening.

Most of my commute is bike lanes and quiet streets (chosen for hill reasons), but the pink highlight is where I go on the sidewalk. I used to take the road but I got tired of almost being run over. Very rarely (less than monthly) is anyone walking while I'm going through.

I do it in specific situations (generally: uphill [aka I'm going 10 and they are speeding at 50+], low ped traffic, always yield to peds). Wish I didn't feel like it was necessary, but I don't want to die on my way to work.

I'm also in my black bean tofu era. I make this sauce with oven-fried tofu (tossed in cornstarch slurry), sometimes with veg added. I serve with rice (obvs) and ginger garlic soy sauce bok choy. www.thecuriouschickpea.com/tofu-with-bl...
Tofu with Black Bean Sauce
This restaurant style tofu with black bean sauce is a classic Chinese dish. Made with fried tofu and a delicious savory sauce, it's ready in no time for a fantastic meal!

Right now, when I have the energy, I make a bunch of burritos and freeze em. Wrap in parchment paper. They microwave really well for work lunch. And so delicious. (Get good tortillas, it's worth it.)
