Secondary Results: again with all the above assumptions in place, the (with labor) cost of making a burrito is an estimated $12.64 whereas the (with labor and delivery) cost of having the burrito delivered is an estimated $19.49.

The secondary hypothesis is also rejected.

Results: The cost of buying a Taco Bell Burrito Supreme is roughly double the (per burrito) cost of the ingredients.

The hypothesis is rejected.

Apropos of nothing, some pictures I took the one time I had a business trip in Puerto Rico.

Consider further the 5 components: i) nationalism (existence of ingroup), ii) assertion of national decline, iii) linking of national decline to existence of the outgroup, iv) national decline is the fault of outgroups asserting dominance, and v) political citizenship of outgroups weakens the whole.

Here is the expanded definition from the Oxford Concise Political Dictionary.

Consider the basic characteristics of fascist ideologies: i) monist (certain fundamental truths), ii) simplistic (simple solutions to complex problems), iii) fundamentalist (good vs. bad), and iv) conspiratorial.

APIAVote and AAPIData find a relatively large 14-point gender gap among AAPI voters in their support for Harris vs. Trump.

70% of AAPI women support Harris while only 56% of AAPI men support Harris.

Kearney depicted the Chinese as an existential threat to the white working class, and he warned that if “the Chinese question” were not addressed by public policy, he would lead a wave of violence against Chinese immigrants to drive them out by force.
October 1, 2024 at 2:21 AM
Similar to how Trump-Vance invoked the threat of immigrant violence against white Americans, Chinese were also stereotyped as violent and sexual predators — the so-called “Yellow Peril” — who posed threats to white lives and white women’s chastity.
October 1, 2024 at 2:17 AM
Anti-Chinese hysteria was fueled by dehumanizing stereotypes of Chinese as feral, wild, and barbaric — especially through the common stereotype of Chinese eating dogs, cats, and rats.

This ad famously depicts the rat-eating stereotype while invoking Kearney’s slogan that “the Chinese must go!”

I ask this seriously - why do some people get so freaking upset about not wearing shoes in another person’s house?

These people do, at some point I assume, go shoeless at their own house. They are aware that shoes are not permanent fixtures right?

Can’t help but notice that some of the folks who romanticize life on the farm might be romanticizing a time thinking it looked easy because people who looked like them would not be actually doing the hard labor of farming.

Saw this on the bird app. I know OP is trying to be deep but there’s a really obvious reason for this: both “African American” and “Asian American” are explicit political terms that were actively constructed to refer to specific non-white groups.

This is an obviously terrible idea for a number of reasons, not the least of which there are absolutely people doing work for the government for whom there is no redundancy. This is a sure fire way to break everything.

Please stop, Vivek. Just stop.

I especially don’t understand how this could limit the administration from even flagging potential posts for further review. Flagging for review. The social media platforms still retain final power over the content on their platforms.
