my (extra) advice for anyone who already does traditional art is to draw in pen more frequently if you don't already. you learn a lot about line confidence and making those permanent "mistakes."

EVERYONE should keep a sketchbook.
i don't care if you are a strictly digital artist. i used to be for over 8 years until i started mine.
if you're afraid of being bad and not being able to rely on digital tools, don't be. that's the whole point.
give yourself the freedom to be an amateur.

Do figure drawing!! It really is like multi-vitamins. You can learn anatomy, gesture, flow, form, light, perspective, acting/poses all at the same time. Any time you can spare on it is worth it. Wouldn't be able to draw figures this confidently without it. Everything changes when you unlock 3D form
