another thing that is happening to me frequently with Homestuck 2 that I do not think happened to me like. at all, with the original Homestuck: There are bits where we are following Jake as a focal character, then such a bit ends, and in my head I go "Aw, I want more Jake English scenes though :("
now that i am actually committed to reading it for real after many brief, false starts (sorry for being a Fake Fan while also being a Homestuck^2 defender) i cannot fucking tell why anyone was ever mad about Homestuck 2. i am genuinely enjoying this as much as the original.
