Good morning! Yesterday, I baked off the last of my oatmeal raisin cookies and made a new batch of chocolate chip cookies for the freezer. We don’t eat a huge amount of stuff like this so it’s super easy to make the dough, portion it and keep in the freezer for when we want a little something

I know, this is a me problem and in light of the world so unimportant. Why is it that I go the Costco, and upon returning home begin constructing the next list of all the things I didn’t know or didn’t check we were out of? I said this year I’ll be better organized.

I need to say thank you to #CostCo, I went to grab a rotisserie chicken, as usual, and they all looked smaller than normal. I immediately thought #shrinkflation and reluctantly put the chicken the cart. Then I noticed the chicken was $3.99! So thank you Costco for having integrity.

Just crawled from under my rock to learn Rob and Michelle Reiner were murdered. Their son has been arrested. It makes me sad to think about. I also find it strange that Mr Reiner’s film career is firmly bookended with Spinal Tap, with so many wonderful films sandwiched between.

I made an apple spice cake for the family. It was so successful my husband asked if I could make another one on Tuesday for our friends arrival! So I’ll have to get more stuff to make another. 😂🥰 I’m always happy when something I make comes out really good. (Even if I can’t eat it).
