It's always a bummer when the actual experience doesn't live up to the nostalgia. Also, reformulations generally water down and thin out the initial compositions leaving you feeling unfulfilled.

I don't know when their new scents are released for the season. Considering their popularity I'd hope they would. Perfume enthusiasm is only increasing

Oh. I've if our staff brought that in and it is good. The sugar cookie Christmas I've is even better. Even if I wasn't sensitive to fragrance in lotions (but oddly I do fine when I wear them as oil or atomizer?!) I still would avoid this dilemma because I get overwhelmed with the decisions!

Wait for a sale. They come as flyers or sign up for emails if you're comfortable. Again, I don't partake but enough of my young coworkers do

I don't wear scented lotions but I know Bath and Body Works makes quite a few with sugar accords. Their body sprays are often composed by the nose of the perfume they are trying to dupe so the scents are usually on point

Vanilla by itself can bolster scents when layered with them. But I agree, cashmeran is intolerable if you're sensitive to it OR it's used in excess and not well blended

Without knowing context, it's a synthetic note that is usually woody and airy to swathe the wearer in the usually comforting scent. Cashmeran is often described as woody and sweet but to those that it irritates it is white noise or static and can overwhelm the rest of the scent

I'll have to monitor that more closely, I get strangely nostalgic every few months or so. Nice to know there's something moving into that lovely comforting feeling

Thanks for the update! Smoke and fig could work. I like what fig can do to a fragrance and it's one of the few fruits that doesn't go syrupy sweet on me
