The past two years have been a lot - had to get a protective order against my spouse and there are stretches when I'm extra quiet on here in connection with all that. But my kids continue to make me so proud and my dogs make sure there is laughter in each day! Are you still crafting and reading?

Grateful for the generosity and graciousness of some folks that led to this encounter! Also, Sara!! Miss you!! Think of you literally daily as I gaze at my array of magnets (dogs and Lin, pleasantly cohabitating on my fridge) and each time my Americans mug makes its appearance for morning coffee 💜

It was definitely a big deal - pulling the lever and being behind the curtain totally elevated the experience! Having kids participate in a mock election was so innovative for my little town that I think it actually made the local paper

Just conjured a memory of the same - we had an actual voting booth in our school library and I was super excited to cast my vote for Mondale and Ferraro!
