I wonder what would happen if the Maine governor declared a public health emergency and a quarantine of the state due to an invasion of pestilence. Monitor anyone entering the state to determine of they are “carriers.” I don’t think there is much of CDC to evaluate to a public health declaration.

One human rights observer in Maine said agents followed her home, blocked off her street, and came to her door to say they know where she lives. Her children are now staying elsewhere, to keep them safe.
