JUST IN: Denver Nuggets forward Cam Johnson had an MRI, which revealed a bone bruise and no structural damage, sources told @hoopshypeofficial.bsky.social. Prior to his injury yesterday, Johnson averaged 15 points on 50.6% shooting from the field and 51.8% from 3-point range in his last 16 games.

Aw, man. Gil Gerard died. It's near impossible to be a Gen-Xer and not have grown up with him as a hero. A soap opera actor turned lunch box superhero, he absolutely dominated the late 70s as Buck Rogers. He was also Jake Rizzo on Sidekicks and many will remember him from THE NICE GUYS. Legend.

Something else to notice beyond Ahmed's extraordinary courage: when he approaches the shooter, another person follows him. Courage multiplies courage. If we can find it in ourselves to stand up & do what needs to be done to stop evil, others will join us. It just takes one brave individual.
