I think that the adaptation of "World War Z" should have been a 12-part faux-historical documentary TV series. Witness interviews cut together with news footage and dramatisations.

The format would allow for a much more faithful, and hopefully more engaging experience.
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

Breaking Bad
Star Trek TNG
And controversially, I really like how "Lost" ended.
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

It still bothers me immensely that a good person was driven from this platform by a handful of self-appointed moralists determined to falsely smear him as a villain, all evidence to the contrary be damned.
And finally, I am a comedian. There are some awful people out there, and I figure that the best way to deal with them is to point out just how silly they are. Point at them and laugh.

But it seems that I'm not good at it. I'm sorry. I'll stop.

What is the cost of lies?
Vaccines DO NOT cause autism - there is extensive research showing this. Resurrecting old, discredited, fraudulent work is shameful.

Vaccine-preventable illnesses are serious - this is going to cause real harms.

This is dangerous & disappointing.

It's really easy to make assertions like this when you disable replies so that the people you're impugning can't defend themselves.
Whenever you post something like this it’s like fucking catnip to the exact fucking atheists you’re talking about. They have zero self knowledge and the most boring fucking intellects
I am married to an agnostic, but people who make their whole personality about being an atheist and can’t have a conversation without condescendingly playing gotcha about people’s belief systems really need to fuck entirely off.

That form of atheism is harmful, and is a religion.

Really not happy with myself these last few weeks. My inability to make decisions has cost me both happiness and opportunities, and brought more stress both on to me and the people I care about most.

I can recognise the pattern of behaviour, but I can't seem to do anything to fix it.

Both of the following statements are true:

Murder is wrong, including the murder of Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk was a truly evil human being who called for political violence against minority groups in public for many years, and called for the murder of all LGBTQ people in public.
