Day 2. Driving from Key West to Fort Lauderdale this afternoon, I literally watched gas prices rise as the electronic signs at convenience stores and service stations switched before my eyes.

At least we don't need eggs right now.

I've been campaigning for my Facebook friends to join Bluesky (if they haven't already) so we can mutally follow one another and HOPEFULLY share ideas - while staying out of the Z and M cesspools.

I’m starting to think that the longer we shield Trump voters from the worst economic outcomes, the worse things actually will get.

Sometimes people just have to find out the hard way, sad as that is. Yes, we will suffer. But at least they will learn that elections do have consequences.

Of all the things that conservative Republicans do that are morally reprehensible, attacking transgender people as a tool to whip up fear is the worst. It's so easy to go after a small powerless group. The modern version of the lynch mob, I guess.
