From non-zero to 1 in 6 🎉

But I still haven't played Balatro, so I would probably vote for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree (even though it's an expansion).

Happy 20th birthday to Half-Life 2!

Absolute juggernaut of a game. It was years ahead of it's time - especially in terms of graphical fidelity and use of physics.

Don't worry, I'm still here waiting for Half-Life 3 or Half-Life 2 - Episode 3.

Decided on giving Stars Without Number a go. I've gathered a party and I just got myself a second hand physical copy 🚀

Let's f*cking go to space 🌌

I can see how the post below can read as overly enthusiastic.

Every other social media turns to poop with a for-profit algorithm, so BlueSky might end the same way.

I'm just trying to say, that you at least have more tools to counter the algorithmic hell of seeing nothing but vitriol.
Every day, I see a new post claiming that there is no algorithm on BlueSky.

I see these posts on "Discover" which is driven by an algorithm.

There are so many algorithms here. You can even make your own through feeds.

Follow feeds to tailor the algorithms to you.

Optimist: the cup is half full

Pessimist: the cup is half empty

The cup: mate, I'm right here, just ask how I feel
Optimist: the cup is half full

Pessimist: the cup is half empty

TTRPG Dev: the cup refills itself every morning with a liquid determined by a D20 roll and this chart

Pessimist: the cup is half empty

Game Developer: We're not actually simulating the water in the cup

if you're worried about art inclusions, Exeunt Press has a great little aggregation of public domain art (www.skeletoncodemachine.com/p/public-dom...), and Itch has lots of cool public domain art too!

that said, you don't need art to post your creations – people play the text of your work!

Me yesterday: Really in a Sci-fi space exploration mood at the moment.

Steam today: HOW ABOUT ALL OF IT

Okay...

How about SepTTRPG?

Instead of a novel, you put extra work into that TTRPG, which has been on pause, or you start writing a new one.

If you are Halloween inclined, you might have your spooky game ready for October.

Around Christmas, I had a fake Santa Claus hogtied in Santa's workshop.

PC's helped him out... But... Turned out it was a Redcap kinda creature. Real Santa Claus (Called the Saint of Midwinter's Eve), a true bad-ass, was looking for other Redcaps in his basement.

Why do you all want Halloween to start now?

It's too much adrenaline.

Can't we just do Sleeptember instead?

This place is called BlueSky.

So let's float through space.

Just stumbled upon this cover of Uncharted Worlds from Mass Effect.

I decided to go with Stars Without Number for now. Free and has a simple D&D-esque feel, so I will probably feel somewhat at home.

I also found a bunch of suggestions elsewhere that looked neat. This one stood out:
Mythic Space - Apparently it's Halo + Mass Effect - I might need this one too!
I'm looking at various systems like:

* Stars Without Number
* Scum and Villainy
* Starfinder

Having a hard time deciding.

Someone out there who's played a game in this Mass Effect + Firefly style mentioned above?

Did you know...

Denmark is one of the most trusting nations in the world.

"Nearly 74% of Danes believe “most people can be trusted” – more than any other nationality." - according to the Guardian

Believe it or not, in Denmark, we leave children sleeping outside in baby prams.

I have the urge to play a Sci-Fi TTRPG in a Mass Effect and Firefly style.

Mass effect in terms of combat, space politics, scale and characters/creatures.

Firefly in terms of being a ragtag crew going sailing through space.

If I were to look for artists to do a cover image and some illustrations for an TTRPG book/zine, which hashtags should I look at?
