I've given each of my WOLs and my Azem some level of fucked up trauma. Melodia is honestly the only one who doesn't have anything super bleak lol, her parents decided to end the cycles of abuse and do better for their kids. Everyone else has it way worse than her.

Melodia's magic comes from imagination, and feels like painting. Uyanga's magic comes from music, and feels just like breathing. Astre's magic comes from empathy, and feels like crying for someone else. Tonlist's magic comes from willpower, and feels like practiced muscle memory.

Melodia is a Summoner main with Pictomancer secondary. In lore, she combines them to amplify her summoning - letting the summoned entity stick around longer but not take any of the planet's aether or enthrall the summoner. That's how all her Carbuncles can be with her at once.
