I see the discourse on AI/LLMs is still going great
The picture is a post on bluesky reading "A 7 year old consumes much more energy+water than AI. Humans require an absurd amount of water to grow their food per person. AI on net uses little to no water. (Something like 0.9%) Rest is used mostly for growing food. AI query energy usage is on the order of google searches."

AI in newsrooms will be great. Take, for example, this article, which claims that both Barcelona and Arsenal are out of the Champions League. Either the journalist is having the biggest brain fart of all time, or it’s AI making stuff up. sports.yahoo.com/article/uefa...
