There’s a big update for Warframe today that I’m looking forward to. I don’t stream these as spoiling the surprise of what this game is isn’t something I want to do. I know too many people who are always very close to maybe trying it. 😜

Went out to go see Wake Up Dead Man tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I think it’s well worth going to see, but even if you wait, it’ll still be a good watch at home in a few weeks.

It has been just a month since the release of Europa Universalis V, and the patches keep on coming! It's really striking just how many systems they are willing to quickly look at once they have a lot of people engaging with the systems.

It has been just a month since the release of Europa Universalis V, and the patches keep on coming! It's really striking just how many systems they are willing to quickly look at once they have a lot of people engaging with the systems.

I'm not going to sit here and claim that LLM's haven't accelerated the decline of Education and Universities. I would argue we were ALREADY ON this vector when we reduced education to test scores, and letters you attach to your name.

If anything is clear from my timeline, I hope it is at least my consistent suspicion of consolidation. I do believe in collective good, but I am also wary of anything that purports to be the one thing.

I hope folks have been noticing just how quickly our ability to effectively use technology at home is being eroded. Our ability to acquire hardware is steadily increasing in cost while the supply of those materials is being hived off for data centres to run SaaS business.

I didn't vote liberal in the last election (I voted NDP), but when Carney "announced" he was running on The Daily Show, I did expect him to win.
I don't know why people thought this would be a climate person? He didn't look that way to me... but the most troubling to me is this section [pictured]

The way to read the Canada-Alberta MOU is that Carney is using the Trump effect as political cover to pursue the deregulatory agenda he’s long wanted. I spoke with @naomiaklein.bsky.social who called it a classic example of the shock doctrine.

The news about Splash Damage is tragic. A lot of skilled people there now left wondering what next year is going to be like.
I have seen a lot of negative sentiment about the equity firm responsible, and that's good. Those people suck. Downside is, they don't care how we feel. They're making bank.
