In the second, we discovered that cisplatin drives ovarian cancer metastasis through a metabolic cross-talk between senescent cancer cells with non-senescent cancer cells. We identified fructose as the upstream driver of this phenotype. First author Dr. Cole just defended!

In the first, @raquelbuj.bsky.social discovered that tumors can respond to anti-PD1 without T cells! Mechanistically, this is through a zinc-dependent increase in macrophage phagocytosis, and this is driven through cancer cell CDKN2A-mediated zinc compartmentalization.

This book is a plagiarism of a Spanish TV series that premiered in 2015 on Spain's public television network, with the exact same name. The author claims she was inspired by the series, but if you watch the show and read the book, it's a very exact kind of inspiration.
