This is probably the most complicated 3D model I have created to date - super proud of the problem solving and learning I did to create this!

Printed with Light weight PLA, filled with bondo, sanded and spray filler.

The snake was one of my pet art concepts. In early brainstorms we established the Sultai breed particularly aesthetic flora and fauna. My partner has two snakes and loves them very dearly, so I was excited to find a spot to get a cute boopable snoot. The added hat was too perfect.

The Sagas are a excellent encapsulation of the collaboration on this set. Working with design on including them in the set and what they would represent. And collaborating with Forrest (the lead Art Director) to use these as diegetic representations of the clans different art forms.

I was asked about the dual land cycle - for these we chose to lean into the "enemy" and "allied" color pair aspect. So on the enemy pairs we showcased the aftermath of a battle between clan while on the ally pairs we featured places where the clans lived alongside each other somewhat amicably.

Hat! This was my first time working with Fossshape, I’m super happy with how it worked out, it’s lightweight but holding the shape really well.

I chose to do embroidery on the large ones so they could match the curve of the brim and have some consistency with the dress.

I’m not great at getting a perfectly smooth finish on prints/ Worbla/ foam. Rather than getting frustrated with myself, this time I’m doing more of a stipple paint finish to blend the imperfections into it more. I’m pretty happy with how it looks!

Are you like me and very bad at remembering to add alt text to images before you post and then have to delete the post to add alt text.

Blue Sky has a setting that won’t let you post without! Super cool and high suggest enabling it.
