Thank you. Most of this business is teamwork, but I’m the one who sits down and writes the copy, so that’s especially sweet to say. We do now have a much more professional staff with photos and technical things. But it’s a joy and I much prefer talking directly to the consumer than a distributor.

It’s a constant struggle! We normally send out a newsletter once every two weeks and during the holidays it’s once a week and I feel nothing but guilt. That is until I check my own inbox and it’s as you say, sometimes several times a day. They think it works. It just makes me Unsubscribe.

Me, too, but my brain is a colander with very big holes so I enjoy myself but retain next to nothing. But I have a nice time!

Or having the audacity to live next to a deregulated polluting factory. How dare you!

It pays to follow our instincts!

They say that red beans need to be cooked on high and the lid needs to be off so some toxic something can escape. I can only say anecdotally that that’s never been an issue for us but if you want to be safe, it’s always a good idea.

I stand corrected! I don’t know if those are our beings or not. It sounds like a shady vendor, but we do not sell to Amazon except for our books. Will look into this, but I wouldn’t buy from them at this point.

We don’t sell on Amazon! We’re in a lot of stores and direct from our website, but you can’t buy our beans on Amazon.

Taco truck is a better answer. There’s the salsa, the delightful beans, and squeeze of limes. A more complete version of the state!
