Actually the word "preprint" implies something before an actual publication.
I hope we eventually move to a "scientist-driven print" - a dynamic and a live document - that gets updated as we progress.
Course correcting is way better than an endpoint. #openscience #preprint #postdoclife #academia

The expectation that academics will keep working as usual (teaching, experimenting, reviewing) no matter what crazy thing happens never gets old - what the hell?

#Preprints are very popular in the life science community!
⏱️ There is a new preprint every 4 minutes!
📈 In 2020, there was 240% growth in preprints (compared to 2019), and they received over 100,000 citations!
🌐 There are 40+ preprint servers.

How many preprints have you posted?

Dr. Katalin Kariko's book is very inspiring for any scientists (especially relatable to first gen and immigrants). It's a great story of resilience and persistence that got me hooked until the end and gives me a fresh start for the #newyear highly recommend! #academia #postdocvoice #phdlife
