It's Day 25 of #Crowvember. Every crow knows, you've gotta get washed before you can get clean.

We're late for Day 24 of #Crowvember! Today's crow is coming in for a landing.

I've also heard "context-free", I feel like we don't land on "contextless" because it's kind of awkward to say, with that ecks sound near the end. kohn-TEKST-Lehs, kohn-TEK-Stihs. The KSTL sound is like a pileup on the highway, I would guess that's why there's these other variants but not that one.

I think "out-of-context" is the more dictionary way to express that adjective.

Today is Day 23 of #Crowvember. Our crow today is participating in the timeless practice of "hackerizing" a "thingamajig".

I've already thought of a fun theme for this. Ah well.

The drawing challenge drawings have been where my Space People time went and I gotta do more of those, but maintaining a weekly Art Thing pattern might be necessary. It would probably be disappointing if I didn't keep doing something like this. I might have created a problem for myself.

Day 22 of #Crowvember sees another cousin flying in for the holidays. This one brought food for the potluck.

The real strength of this comes long-term. When you show up to bracket, you make friends, you get dinner afterwards each night, you start to hang out after bracket. The game itself is no longer the crux of your friendship, you're just pals. The game could be any game, but yours brought you together.

Fighting games are an incredible third space for meeting new people & being social. Signing up for a tournament will fry your nerves, but you sit down with a different person each week, you laugh, you get some matches after bracket, you become friends. FGs are a bitter road but you walk it together.
