I bought the 3D printer to help me make cool accessories for costumes/projects, but honestly getting to print things that help organize and optimize my work space is equally as fuckin cool. Made a clip on bin for my sewing desk. To catch thread, bits of fabric. Then a paint brush stand.

Oh that’s interesting I didn’t know that. This is what it looks like. I used acetone on it. I ended up flipping the plate and using the other side for now.

Managed to get a pc computer set up so I can actually print whatever I want. Friends were kind enough to give me an old PC tower, I had a free keyboard from microcenter. I just had to buy a monitor and a mouse. This is my temp set up until I get the funds to get a better work bench for the printer.

I move it, get it in the right spot when…that spot of the table is warped, so it won’t sit level. SO now I gotta order a more solid table. Ugh. Feel like this thing is just teasing me at this rate. It does look sexy though !!

My new printer arrives today!! I am not ready in the least lol I honestly thought it would ship from CA and take a week to get to me…not like 2 days. I thought I had time lmao. Ah well! I am still super exciteddddd

Prep container. I make/cut them small enough so the fit in my toaster. I just pop 2-3 in there while I wait for my coffee. Easy and fast

Oh even better. Yea the older stuff used to shrink, a LOT. More than I expected. I used it on some werewolf hands and while looking cool they shrunk big time. So good to know it’s adjusted but I’ll be sure to do some tests before applying it my project. Thank you for the insight!

Gundam as it’s a lot small numbers and solid smooth lines that could easily fit around the collar. Just to fill up space. This is the back neck plate that I plan on smoothing out but it would be cool to have warning labels or numerical bits here and there.

Ah I see I am going to experience what everyone’s definition of “purple” is while buying anodized metal parts. Thankfully I like both but seems I’ll have to get creative with placement haha

Had a busy week with work so progress on Velocity has been slow. Still, I’ve managed to make some decent progress on him. I’ve lost count how many pieces and spots he’s up to now haha. But he’s getting there!

This weekend I learned stars are a pain in the butt to sew haha. Thinking I might trim the fur a bit to make the star shape more apparent. I’ll decide after I get the rest sewn. Still have two more stars to sew :,)

So proud of my self!! Feeling strong. I haven’t been able to go as hard as I usually do so to make such gains feels incredible!! I wanna start going hard again, or maybe go on a cut…haven’t decided yet.
