Black Jasmine is a wild black tea that comes from the high mountain slopes of Yên Bái Province, Vietnam. At 4,300 feet, it's plucked and harvested by a single family of Hmong farmers. The trees are 300 – 400 years old.

Burmese Breakfast: A new blend from Myanmar

This is an unexpected tea, born of necessity after a year of conflict and a devastating earthquake. Due to conditions this year, our partners in Mogok, along with several other growers in the region, were unable to produce enough raw leaf to meet demand.

Amba Thieves Tea comes from a small, organic farm in Uva, Sri Lanka. The name "Thieves Tea" comes from the days when workers were prohibited by plantation owners from taking tea from the fields — when it was meant to be sold as a luxury item. So they would sneak out raw leaves and make it at home.

It's called "Old Tea Head Dark," named for the presence of "Lao Cha Tou" ("Old Tea Heads"). These are clumps of tea that formed during the ripening process of this batch 10 years ago.

We think you'll love it and we're excited for you to try this special tea!
