I haven't been up to learning cables yet, but still wanted to play around with something new in knitting. I'm alternating knits and slips to sort of double-knit with single yarn, basically working one side each turn. I think it's going to make a stylish throw pillow cover.

Had a very successful snake-handling session this morning. It's a lot of fun just standing in front of a mirror and watching her explore all over my arms and shoulders. Finally got a good non-blurry photo of the cool pattern on her head, too. She really is a sweetheart little snake.

She's starting an escape attempt over the substrate wall, but it let me finally get a good shot of her signature spotnose head stamp. The pattern on the top of her head is slightly darker than her body splotches and looks a little like a crown, a skull and crossbones, or a fluer de lis. Her flicking tongue is a pink blur.

I don't know how diagnostic this picture is, but according to it she might be a spotnose actually? Her head has that same pattern on the crown almost exactly. I've been calling it her crown, even.

It's not this guy from Tom and Jerry from a head-on view is it? I rember there being some dramatic shots of that jaw from head-on in the cartoon.

A weirdly proportioned robot dog with a brick- like rectangle body on four small wheels, short stiff tail, tall half-dome head, droopy dachshund ears, and a long also-rectangular nose and mouth like a serrated duck bill. A true story about my cats

I had a ball of Red Heart "Blacklight" rolling around left over from a high-viz doggie vest I made for a friend a few years ago, and decided it was perfect for an Ugly Dice (pos) bag.

It stands up great as a bowl when open and is easy to reach into.

A good-handful size crochet dice bag, the bottom 2/3 in a wild 90s highlighters color pattern interspersed with black, the top 1/3 solid black and cinched shut with a braided drawstring with tassels. It is very bag shaped.

The bag opened wide, the black top 1/3 flared out slightly offering a clear view and easy access to the Ugly Dice inside

The bag with the top black portion folded over the outside to convert the bag to bowl mode. The Ugly Dice sit pretty nestled in the bright colors of the lower bag

It's not a game I play but my kids insisted I make a Cookie Run OC with them.

So, this is Cosy Waffle Cookie, based on stroopwaffles. I think she turned out cute, and I'm pretty proud of the waffle pattern blush/freckles. I felt clever for that one lol
