Condolences to his family but make sure to let them know there's no racism in Ireland.
My neighbour is American and went back over to visit her mother. For the first time, her Irish husband stayed home, figuring it's not worth the risk. Until yesterday, the risk was "only" getting deported to some third world shithole for daring to be born foreign. Somehow, things got even stupider.
