Video games, robots, politics, 3D printing, and whatever else.
The issue to me is that this is focused on self-driving rather than broad traffic safety. Fuck all these megacorps, they shouldn't be trusted period. But pretending the issue with road safety is that waymos are uniquely dangerous is kinda wild.

I think so, something like a "contextually-weighted foot pulled from a distribution"

Most are, just not at a panicked pace yet.

Amazon of course has been doing major robotics work both in a reliable and hype driven way for years

1) Either they don't or they don't care
2) Trump's FTC will never do anything that would interrupt silicon valley hype

Or guy who hunts. There are 14 million+ hunters. Please consider the more likely options first. 200 yards isn't that far
September 11, 2025 at 11:26 AM
I think the idea is that this act only *required* the accuracy and caliber of a standard hunting rifle without any "assault rifle like" features (semi auto, magazine size, short barrel, ect.), so proposed gun control rules wouldn't have prevented it.

I think this is a place where you apply Occam's razor. The US Military has generally around 3500 snipers at one time, maybe 1500 FBI swatt team members, maybe a couple thousand local PD swatt.

Approximately 5% of the US population hunts. What's more likely?

Please, link a real source, not AI slop. I'm interested if he actually did issue statements, but a Google AI summary is literally nothing.

I think it is also an excuse to downsize while allowing product quality to atrophy some acceptable amount. Executives saw Twitter get slashed and still vaguely operate and concluded they have massively overhired.

Honest question, has a PD ever faced any consequences for violating one of these orders?

Because they're not real judges? They are DOJ administrators who can be fired on the drop of a hat

Oh man, Iwish they gave me a free option of checking my carry on and only taking a small backpack. But I'm not going to pay extra to check my bag. I gate check it all the time, it's just a stupid process :(

6 per series I believe. Like how there are different series of Pokémon card packs each with a fixed set of cards which could be in them.

Sweeney Todd 2?

Sweeney is a illegally deported man who returns, buys a food cart, becoming a pillar of the community while going after ice agents and rubber stamp immigration judges.

Republicans in oregon are attacking RCV for the same reason. I think they honestly hold the belief that their coalition only has a shot at winning with lots of incredibly dumb and sunsetting older voters.

The only thing with an app that I've bought recently and stand by is my Bluetooth OBD2 scanner. The app is free, doesn't require you to sign up or log in, and it has been helpful to parse through error codes and sensor snapshots.

Some good technology there, but we should absolutely not celebrate or even accept facial recognition technology being forced on people.

Idk man, I think that's one of the coolest fucking cars you could drive. When a car is shitty/inconvenient/weird enough it becomes awesome. You gotta hit the ugly and bad but try hard-ing.

It really is what's going on. Brett Adcock is trying to be Musk for humanoid robots. Ian Proulx is trying to be the gaming Musk.
