Sometimes you need to hold a petty gripe in your heart that effects no one and doesn't matter, for calibration purposes. Mine is being endlessly annoyed by artists who are more concerned with accuracy in animal designs then they are in making those designs appealing to look at

"Thagomizer" in Japanese is, in fact, サゴマイザー/sagomaizaa, and you can imagine my delight when it dawned on me what the katakana I was reading represented.

The keepers at Enoshima Dinoland - a dinosaur themepark - try to decide what charm point they should advertise their stegosaurus with, to increase traffic. The thagomizer (the spikes on their tail) is mentioned.

Apparently the subject of the day on the art side of the internet is how to draw heads at difficult angles, so I’m gonna put it out there that there is absolutely nothing wrong with grabbing a tool like @handyarttool.bsky.social to get super specific references of difficult angles to draw
