Libraries purchase books. When you see a book at the library, it isn’t “free”

the library bought it.

which in turn means that the community bought it.

In other words, library books are not lost sales for authors and publishers; they’re positive sales. Active sales. Those are bought.

I was unable to see the northern lights because of light pollution. But I am headed to Stevensville MI tonight for a training of library staff tomorrow and hoping being more in the country and right near Lake Michigan to the north will help.

Shiny Happy People is quite the ride!! I just love how Clay gets us in Kyra’s head in the midst of her panic attacks and the way we have all felt so alone when we were teens. And the rest is crazy!Go out and pick this one up!
