That was a problem under Blair too only then the policy was all about boosting wealth for those who were around 35-55 at the time.

They owned their houses, were at peak earning potential, had their final-salary pensions.

The first steps of the ladder were taken away in the last 90s.

Yeah that has been going on for ages so I assumed that it won't be finished for a decade or two.

Switching the gauge so that Europe can move resource from Spain to Latvia quickly is even more important. Especially as that also has direct economic benefits.

It's probably worth adding that the Russians are actually very good at putting down train tracks. This will slow them down and deter but were they to invade and occupy then the tracks would be rebuilt within a year.

There are 70-year-olds in houses worth 2M GBP who can't move: we should be building social assisted-living flats for these people. They can sell (and pay their Capital Gains tax) and move to an awesome 500k GBP flat and have 750k GBP left to spend!

Not just in London! We need more dense housing in our cities. Cities are the motor of the economy and that motor runs well when the oil (the human talent) can be kept fresh. Which means that they must be affordable. Which means affordable rents. Which means flats + appartements.

The UK budget should have ended the pensions triple-lock, massively cut regulation to allow new nuclear and solar/wind to be built quickly and cheaply (just to relativise - the risks of climate change outweigh those from nuclear) and restarted building of social housing (vertically).

The legacy of Brexit and 20 years of policy aimed at min/maxing life for the Boomer generation.

Just to name a couple: games such as Persona 5 Royal and Xenoblade Chronicles 2/3/X would benefit greatly from having unlocked FPS and rendering at 1080P or "docked" performance in handheld mode.

Updates which are presumably very easy to make. Yet they aren't being made.
