I went to see Oppenheimer and there was a group of teens who spent the first 30 minutes throwing trash at the screen/at me, yelling, taking flash pictures
Until I finally stood up and said "WE"RE TRYING WATCHING A MOVIE HERE" and they shut up and were silent. They needed to be embarrassed a lil bit

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Now that I'm consistently getting calls from those AI bots that are programmed to sound like a real person including "Ummms" and typing sounds
I'm weirdly affectionate towards the robot calls that are obviously a robot. The stilted voice, having to say "Talk to Representative" over and over again

My partner works for Bandai and helped open the new Gunbase in Chicago and my new favorite hobby is saving all the videos of people going and losing their mind because it’s so cool and sending it to him

I wish I could more openly radically anti outdoor cat. But I feel like that’s the one take where even the “cool” people might rip me apart because it’s weirdly normalized. But like for real stop letting your baby boy play in the street.

New favorite hobby is seeing someone comment about how much they hate furries, immediately finding out what sports team is their favorite from their profile (because of course the openly anti furry dudes are sports guys) and telling them a furry made their mascot <3

This particular "company" has become my personal enemy. I would know this model anywhere and I see them selling SO MANY shirts with stolen art for various fandoms. Like now they have stolen art from ENA Dream BBQ?

I feel like this will eventually lead to me never going to any cons but I am tempted to start black listing cons that use AI in their marketing because I think that says a lot about what they allow in their artist alleys and how they’ll treat their vendors
