The Pairing and The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year left me warm and happy inside and last, but not least, I read Ice Planet Barbarians for the bit and I will never, ever do that again.

Celestial Monsters was an incredible end to the Sunbearer Duology and A Sunny Place for Shady People reminded me that I can really love horror (in small doses), The Volcano Daughters is a book everyone should read.

How to End a Love Story, This Could Be Us, A Novel Love Story, and A Love Song for Ricki Wilde were books that made me weep, You Dreamed of Empires was far and away my favorite book in translation.

There was a new All Souls book, so Deborah Harkness was my most read but Silvia Moreno-Garcia would be my most read author outside of a series. My favorite new full-length book was Faebound but This Is How You Lose the Time War was my favorite novella!
