On the EU side, from what I understand there are similar laws being written at the moment. A trusted source assured me that due to the number of countries it would have to apply to, it would not be passed any time soon. However, it would still be ideal if it was nipped in the bud.

I had hoped people I was in community with would already be savy to these things, but people are easily duped. Please inform your fellow humans, I promise it doesn’t have to be super embarrassing, you can just point out it’ll censor info coming out of Gaza among other things.

A bit of explaining is all it takes for them to see how KOSA being passed is a threat to them, speaking from experience. Talk to your friends, tell them how these measures can be bypassed by kids simply impersonating someone else, talk about the lack of privacy and speech suppression this creates.
