Whoops, thought I had mentioned bots and trolls skewing results, but somehow I didn’t.
Perhaps, but online sources like social media skew the results, comments you make, especially if they can see that you are a regular voter, are given far more weight. Also being friendly with your political representatives’s staffs helps if you have a problem that needs solving.

Which democrats? The old guard? Or the younger crew. Right now you can be doing what I am doing, bombarding my congresscritters on a weekly basis with support for the stuff they’ve done if I like it, mentioning things I think are neglected, and critiquing things I think they could do better.
compromise is good but it seems like democrats aren’t willing to compromise with the wants of leftist people they seem to only want to compromise with “moderate republicans” and centrist voters which is a bad strategy for winning elections i want them to to compromise with leftists and young people

Went to my local library this morning to do a bit of research for my current book project and my goodness such a life-affirming space! There was an adult being taught to read on the next table, children enjoying story time, countless people taking out books. So grateful for our libraries ❤️
